JEWELLERY CARE
18k Gold
Resistant to water,
sweat and other elements
so you can wear all the time.
Solution
18K gold can be easily cleaned with a polishing cloth.
You can also soak gold jewellery in a bowl filled
with lukewarm water and a few drops of mild soap.
Use your fingers or a soft cloth to rub off any dirt
and dry thoroughly. Keep in a dry place.
Sterling Silver
Exposure to air, dust or other elements may cause
sterling silver to tarnish more rapidly, as well as leaving it unused.
Solution
Use a polishing cloth to remove any tarnish
and oxidation. Keep in a dry place.
Brass
Due to the nature of this metal,
your jewellery will eventually oxidize and
may cause a slight green colouring on the
finger which is non-toxic and will fade eventually.
Solution
Wash your brass jewellery in warm water with mild liquid soap.
Use a soft cloth or brush to gently rub away any dirt.
Rinse the soap off and dry thoroughly.
We also suggest using a polishing cloth to remove daily grime build-up and keep in a dry place.
Platings & Vermeil
The plating durability will depend
on each wearer's usage and body sweat.
Some bodies are more prone to sweat
than others, in that case,
the plating will come off faster.
For your plating to last longer,
do not expose your jewellery directly
when exercising, showering or washing your hands.
Solution
For platings and vermeil gently rub and polish with a soft cloth
or microfibre cloth. Avoid polishing cloth or silver cloth
unless they specifically say “un-treated” otherwise
they often contain polishing agents and chemicals meant for silver
and not gold. Keep in a dry place.
